Autocollimator

We manufacture a qualitative range of autocollimators that are basically optical instruments. These electronic autocollimator are highly accurate and sensitive instruments that are provided with a telescope and collimator for performing the following functions:
  • Precision alignment
  • Detection of angular displacements over a significant distance
  • Verification of angle standards
Our autocollimators work on the following principle:
  • Projecting an image onto a target mirror
  • Measuring the deflection of the returned image against a scale (visually or electronically through detector)

Electronic Autocollimator

We are instrumental in designing and marketing of a technology based assortment of interference autocollimators that provide accuracy in measurement of flatness of lapped and polished mechanical components. We have the capability to produce our technical mass products with flat surfaces that are specified to be better than 0.1 µ m, over a few cm. These electronic autocollimator are produced in millions per month by using processes like lapping & polishing and micro machining (90% having diameters less than 50 mm). These electronic autocollimator use interferometers as an imperative aspect and are tested as per the guidelines of ISO 9000.

Visual Autocollimator

Visual Autocollimator

Our wide array of autocollimator consists of quality assured visual autocollimators that are capacitated to measure angles as small as 0.5 arc second. The different designs of mirrors used in these autocollimators are used in combinations to check surface plate profiles, machine element orientations and rotary dividing heads. The light beam is then sent around the surface for analysis, which is mostly done by Pentaprisms and optical polygons.

These optical autocollimators are utilized in workshops, inspection or calibration rooms, standard rooms and tool rooms for the following purposes:
  • Checking Straightness of Machine Tool Slide ways
  • Checking the Straightness of Machine Bed Movement

Reflectors

Reflectors

We offer our clients with standard type and corner type reflectors that are used as a part of autocollimators. Our standard reflectors are used for calibration and repositioning of machine bed or surface plate at an interval of 100 mm, whereas corner reflectors are used for inspection of flatness of surface table along with the standard reflectors. The corner reflectors directs or reflects the beam of autocollimators on to the standard reflector. The standard reflectors represent an angular tilt of 1 arc second if a tilt of 0.5 µm is provided over a length of 100 mm.

Spindle Target

Spindle Target

We offer our clients with spindle targets that are used for mounting and aligning the spindle and bore rotational axis. These targets can measure rotational axis, when viewed with a telescope offset of the centre of the cross line and for measurement of angular tilts when viewed through autocollimators. These targets are provided with linear fine adjustment screws and kinematic adjustment screws for the alignment of the rotational centre of the shaft and angular tilt.
