| Low Pressure Mercury Lamp We offer our clients with low pressure mercury lamp that are traditional type of discharge lamps that were used in laboratories. These mercury lamp are used for wavelength calibration of optical measuring instruments and disinfection as these use mercury in an excited state for producing light. | Monochromatic Light Sources We have in store for our clients, a highly functional range of monochromatic light sources and units that is used for checking flatness of reflective surfaces by means of an optical flat. Widely utilized in varied applications, these monochromatic light sources work on the following principle: - Optical flat is placed on the piece to be measured
- Monochromatic light is aimed at the piece
- Light reflects back of the piece through the optical flat causing interference light bands
- If the distance between the optical flat and the piece to be measured is one half the wave length of helium, or an even multiple of the number, the band will show black
- This is referred to as a helium light band and because it is one half the wave length of helium it measures 0.3 microns or 0.0000116 inches

| Low Pressure Sodium Vapour Lamp Extensively used for wavelength calibration or resolution regulation, our range of low pressure sodium vapor lamps is specially designed to give an accurate output. These sodium vapor lamps require an initial warm up period of about ten minutes so as to reach at a full light output stage and then cool before restarting.
